Ham & Pea Mac & Cheese

imagesHere is a quick and easy recipe for Ham & Pea Mac and Cheese! This is a great meal for kids and adults!

1 box of bowtie pasta
1 container of Chive & Onion cream cheese
1 package of cubed ham (I like to use leftover ham that I have frozen, but you can use store bought ham as well)
1 c. frozen peas
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350. Cook pasta according to package direction. When pasta has about 5 minutes left, add in ham and peas. Cook until all are done. Drain pasta, ham, and peas in a colander. Once drained, add back to pot. Add cream cheese to the pot and stir until melted and well mixed. Pour pasta mix into a 13×8 pan sprayed with non-stick spray. In a small bowl, mix bread crumbs and garlic powder together. Then sprinkle on top of pasta. Top pasta with shredded cheese and bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
