If you are normally ready for nap time around 3pm every afternoon, focus on a diet that contains foods with a low glycemic index. The sugars in low glycemic foods are absorbed slowly so you don’t hit that afternoon lull. Focus on eating foods such as whole grains, high-fiber vegetables, nuts, seafood, lean proteins, and healthy oils like olive oil.
