Workout Wednesday – Daily Tip #100!!!!

WorkoutWednesday Holy cow! Can you believe there have been 100 Daily Tips posted so far, and they just keep on coming! 🙂 Talk about a workout for my fingers!

So today, we are going to focus on ways to workout your brain & mind! While it’s important to keep your body fit and healthy, the same can be said for your brain and mind. Here are a few tools to help keep your brain active:

  • Lumosity – This is a tool that you can use on your computer or download the app on your phone! It has tons of games that help workout your brain. It tests everything from speed, memory, attention, flexibility, and problem solving. I actually use this daily and have really seen a difference in how my brain processes different things now.
  • Read a book, magazine, comic! It doesn’t matter, just read – Reading exercises your brain and helps improve ‘muscle’ memory. Check out this study here.
  • Try writing instead of typing more often. Try writing a letter 1-2 times a week, plus whoever you send the letter to will be very happy to get something in the mail that isn’t bills!
  • Meditate. Get rid of that stress and relax!
