The Holidays Are Here!

indexAfter 7+ years, the holidays around our house are absolutely FULL! My husband and I have 2 kids together (a 10 year old boy and 5 year old daughter). He also has 2 daughters from a previous marriage (2 girls, ages 17 and 14). Long story short, we haven’t seen his girls in a VERY long time, but that all changed this August. His oldest daughter now lives with us and his 14 year old has been visiting on the weekends. How awesome! There is a lot of happiness in the house right now, which is great rolling into the holidays.

Now that we will have 4 kids under the roof during the holidays, it’s time to start thinking of awesome and fun things to do. I’m thinking of doing the train ride called the Heber Creeper. It’s about an hour from our house, but they do a Polar Express train ride, complete with hot chocolate and Santa Claus. We’ve been meaning to do this for a very long time, but this year seems better than any. Other than that, there will be a lot of shopping, cooking, wrapping, watching holiday movies together like Christmas Vacation, and who knows what else! This holiday season is going to kick some major butt!
