Well we did our weigh ins yesterday, and while I was heavier than I thought, it wasn’t all that unexpected. I ate pretty poorly over the last week, so the gain was inevitable. But yesterday, we ate really well, starting with a fresh juice in the morning, a nice big salad for lunch, then a sensible dinner. I also took the dog for a 1.25 mile walk around a local park which was nice for both of us. This week we are pretty busy with 2 soccer games, 2 soccer practices, dance class, school open house, jiujitsu, along with everything else that comes with our regular week. But we are determined, and with a little bit of planning, I think we can be very successful with this challenge. For my juice yesterday, here is the recipe:
2 c. strawberries
1 orange, peeled
2 carrots, scrubbed
Put them all in the juicer, and there you have it.
I’m feeling pretty good only one day into the weight loss challenge, but let’s see how the next 27 days go!
